The South West London Twins Club has been running a Buddy Scheme since 2004.

It was dreamt up and kicked into action by one of our mums who realised that she couldn't have survived the first stage of life with her new babies without the invaluable advice, help and friendship of another member and neighbour whose twins were a bit older than hers.

These days we have a fine team of volunteer co-ordinators who can assist new members in finding the right buddy for them!

This could be someone to act as a bit of a mentor, or someone who lives locally with babies or children at the same stage as theirs with whom they can get together to share the ups and downs of daily life as a twin mum.

If you are new to the area we could also put you in touch with local mums and dads of multiples with children the same age as yours.

Our buddies are all ordinary members who are interested in sharing their experiences with others. No-one is an expert or a professional and we are always looking for more buddies!
