Lollipop Club meet ups

Since the beginning of the year a group of Richmond based twins and triplets have been meeting up at the Lollipop Club in Richmond every second Tuesday of the month.  After a few months we decided to make this a SWLTC affair since the kids love it and it is a great venue for those with multiples – it is very easy to have a coffee and keep your eyes on your offspring too.

The Lollipop Club has a bouncy castle, a ball pond, lots of cars, tractors and bikes to drive as well a few toys suitable for babies.  William and Ella have enjoyed going since they were one year old and not yet walking.  At first their real love was the ball pond, then Ella spent all her time in one of the cars.  Now I can’t get them out of the bouncy castle!

The Lollipop Club is based at London & Welsh Rugby Club, 187 Kew Road, Richmond.  There is free parking and although you are allowed to take buggies in, the entrance is only a short distance from the car park.  Tickets cost £7 for two children although 10 tickets can be brought for £28.   Lunchboxes are also available to buy for those are who time constrained.  If you can’t make our sessions but if you fancy giving the Lollipop Club a try it is best to check that it has not been closed for a private party – call 020 8332 7436 to check .

A few of the stalwarts of our session will be heading off to nursery school in September so it would be useful to have some feedback as to whether we should continue with these sessions or whether it would be better to find a more central meeting point- any suggestions/ volunteers to come up with some venues/ dates?  For the moment we will continue with those planned at the Lollipop Club so see the diary for details. 

SWLTC Parties

Our parties are hugely popular and a great chance for all members of the club - whether their babies have yet to arrive or have already started school - to get together in a fun environment. We have a wonderful summer picnic, an Autumn Party - in 2007 we had a wonderful spooky halloween theme - and a fantastic Christmas party.

We provide first class entertainment for the children and the mums and dads can imerse themselves in twin chat whilst enjoying some well deserved refreshments.
